From a very young age, she had already gathered the concepts of love – meanings that even adults couldn’t comprehend.

Setting birds free from their cages. The moon hiding so the sun has it’s time to sparkle, an ocean so deep concealing the world’s treasures and secrets. A caterpillar turning into a butterfly. Feeling the cold sprinkles of snow, or to watch the flowers bloom, letting us know that spring has arrived.

A baby tasting lemon for the very first time. A mother singing lullabies. Learning to ride a bike with the one person who will never leave your side, Dad. Eagerly waiting for your grandmas home made pies. Making tents out of bed sheets, then arguing with your siblings “I made it, it’s mine!” and how you knew granddad would always be on your side.

Fighting with your best friend and ending up on the floor, faces gleaming. The mischievous smiles. Eating jam sandwiches he made, even though you hate jam. Laughing at his jokes again and again… As though it’s the first time. When you’re with someone you love, there’s a different kind of shine.
