Untitled #1

Definition of ‘struggle’ :

  1. make forceful or violent efforts to get free of restraint or constriction
  2. a forceful or violent effort to get free of restraint or resist attack

but what happens if the “struggle” isn’t physical? And it’s a struggle with the heart, the brain. A struggle with that voice in your head…

  2. The voice in the head was a big part of my growing up, so I completely get it.

I guess the only solution to the struggle against this voice is to either accept what it’s saying, or reject what it’s saying…

If neither option is helping, just talk about it to somebody, that’ll surely help!

Wish you strength to overcome every struggle you ever face!😃

    1. I think that’s the hardest part, “talking to someone about it” because no one can really understand if they haven’t been through it themselves. 😊 Thanks for your lovely comment 🌸

  4. Interesting post! I feel like a lot of the language we use around violence/struggle/pain undermines or does not include emotional pain. Thanks for pointing this out ❤
